The Lahore Zoo has announced large discounts on several of its main attractions, offering up to 50% off to help ease the financial burden on visitors and draw in more families.
While the prices for general entry and parking remain the same, the zoo has lowered rates for popular spots like the Reptiles House, Fish Aquarium, HoloVerse, Virtual Reality, and Mixed Reality areas.
Under the revised rates:
- The Rs200 ticket for both the Reptiles House and Fish Aquarium has been reduced to Rs100.
- The HoloVerse experience, which was Rs300, will now cost Rs150.
- Virtual Reality access has dropped from Rs200 to Rs100.
- Mixed Reality tickets have been brought down from Rs100 to Rs50.
Zoo officials shared that the HoloVerse, Virtual Reality, and Mixed Reality zones are temporarily closed for maintenance and cleaning, but will reopen soon.
These discounted rates were approved by the Captive Wildlife Management Committee. According to officials, the aim is to make the zoo more budget-friendly for the public and to boost the number of visitors.
It’s also important to note that the private company previously in charge of managing the zoo stepped away from its contract just a day ago. The zoo administration has now fully taken over all ticketing and operational duties.
