Gold prices climb again, reach Rs442,800 per tola in Pakistan

The price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs1,900 per tola on Thursday, reaching Rs442,800 compared to Rs440,900 a day earlier, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

Similarly, the rate for 10 grams of 24-karat gold went up by Rs1,629 to Rs379,629 from Rs378,000, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold increased by Rs1,493 to Rs348,005 from Rs346,512.

In the global market, gold prices also gained $19, hitting $4,217 from the previous $4,198.

Meanwhile, silver rates remained stable, with 24-karat silver sold at Rs5,337 per tola and Rs4,575 per 10 grams. International silver prices also held firm at $52.50 per ounce.
