Gold rate climbs to new all-time high across Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan soared to another record high on Wednesday, with the rate of 24-karat gold per tola rising by Rs5,800 to reach Rs440,900, up from Rs435,100 a day earlier, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also climbed by Rs4,972, settling at Rs378,000, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold increased by Rs4,558 to Rs346,512.

In the global market, gold prices rose by $58, reaching $4,198 per ounce compared to the previous day’s $4,140.

Silver prices followed the same trend, with per tola silver gaining Rs90 to hit Rs5,337, and 10 grams silver rising by Rs77 to close at Rs4,575. International silver rates also edged up by $0.90, reaching $52.50 per ounce.
