The Government of Pakistan has announced that top Matric position holders from all boards will be taken on an official study visit to Türkiye, according to a circular issued by the Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC).
The program, launched by the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training in collaboration with the Directorate General of Immigration and Passports, will enable students from Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISEs) across the country to travel on official passports.
Conditions for Participation
- Students must meet certain requirements before departure, including:
- A medical fitness certificate from a government hospital.
- Written consent from parents or guardians.
- Two white shalwar kameez suits with shoes (to be arranged by students), while the ministry will provide a green blazer.
- Only one shoulder bag allowed; laptops and cameras are not permitted.
- Advance submission of parents’ or guardians’ contact details.
- The IBCC further stated that local boards will cover pick-and-drop expenses for participating students.
Submission Deadline
All BISEs have been directed to send the passports and required documents of the selected students to the IBCC Secretariat in Islamabad by September 19, 2025, for onward processing.
Board chairpersons have been assigned to oversee the entire process and provide necessary guidance to students for a smooth execution of the program.
