The Karachi Traffic Police have issued a special traffic and parking plan for the Musical Night at the National Stadium on August 13, held to mark the 78th Independence Day and Marka-e-Haq celebrations.
Vehicles with official event stickers will be allowed entry through Gates 1 and 11, while general parking will be available at the Expo Centre and China Ground near the stadium.
Residents of District Central are advised to reach the Expo Centre via Hassan Square and use the shuttle service to the stadium. Those from District South, East, and Malir should head to China Ground using Karsaz, New Town, or Rashid Minhas Road.
Heavy traffic is expected in the evening on Sir Shah Suleman Road, National Stadium Road, and Habib Ibrahim Rehmatullah Road (Karsaz).
For commuters not attending the event, alternate routes via University Road, Shaheed-e-Millat Road, Rashid Minhas Road, and NIPA have been recommended.
