Gold prices in the international market went up by $11 per ounce, reaching $3,356.
Following this increase, the rising trend in gold rates continued in Pakistan’s local markets on Saturday.
Based on the updated prices, the rate of 24 karat gold per tola in Pakistan rose by Rs1,100, bringing it to Rs358,100.
At the same time, the price of 10 grams of gold went up by Rs944, now standing at Rs307,013.
In a similar pattern, silver prices also saw an increase. The rate of silver per tola in Pakistan climbed by Rs85, now at Rs4,022, while the price for 10 grams of silver rose by Rs73 to reach Rs3,448.
Elsewhere, spot silver jumped 3.9% to $38.46 per ounce, marking its highest level since September 2011.
