The Sindh government has announced plans to promote teachers and non-teaching staff of the School Education Department to the next grade, officials confirmed on Saturday.
As per the notification, all regional offices have been directed to prepare and submit seniority lists of eligible teaching and non-teaching employees by October 15.
These lists will be reviewed by divisional directors before being sent to the department for final approval.
The promotion process will cover high school teachers, subject specialists, and other non-teaching employees working under the department.
Once the seniority lists are finalized, a Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meeting, chaired by the Secretary of School Education, will be held to review and approve the cases.
Officials stated that the initiative aims to resolve long-standing promotion delays and ensure that teachers and education staff across Sindh receive timely career progression.
