The Ministry of Religious Affairs has temporarily paused work on the Hajj flight schedule because of rising tensions related to possible US and Israeli strikes on Iran.
Sources say the current situation could have an impact on flight planning. However, officials will prepare the schedule while keeping these circumstances in mind.
Even though there may be delays in finalizing the flight schedule, the process of issuing visas to pilgrims has already started and is continuing day and night.
According to sources, nearly two-thirds of the pilgrims have already received their visas. The visa process for 120,000 pilgrims continued throughout the weekend, as ministry staff worked without their usual Saturday and Sunday holidays.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs says work on the Hajj arrangements is moving quickly, and the full schedule is likely to be released before Eid-ul-Fitr.
The schedule will include details such as flight timings, building reservations, room allocations, and other arrangements. Pilgrims will be able to access the information on the ministry’s official website and through the Pak Hajj mobile app.
Sources also said that the second phase of training for pilgrims will begin right after Eid-ul-Fitr. Training materials and the full schedule for these sessions have already been prepared.
