Gold price in Pakistan drops by Rs3,000 per tola

The price of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs3,000 per tola on Wednesday, now selling at Rs351,500 compared to Rs354,500 on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.

Similarly, the price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs2,572, reaching Rs301,354 from the earlier rate of Rs303,926. For 22-karat gold, the cost for 10 grams declined by Rs2,357, now standing at Rs276,251 instead of Rs278,608.

Meanwhile, the prices of silver stayed the same, with one tola holding steady at Rs3,841 and 10 grams at Rs3,293.

On the global front, gold prices also saw a dip, falling by $33 per ounce to $3,292 from the earlier $3,325. The international price of silver, however, remained unchanged at $36.57.
