One more victim of the suicide bombing at an Imambargah mosque in Islamabad has passed away, raising the death toll to 34, according to a report.
The victim, identified as Aqeel Jan, was receiving treatment at Polyclinic Hospital. He died from his injuries on Monday.
The attack took place on Friday and was later claimed by the Islamic State group. It is considered the deadliest assault in the capital since the 2008 bombing of the Marriott Hotel.
Authorities said that 34 people lost their lives in the blast at the Imambargah Qasr-e-Khadijatul Kubra mosque on the outskirts of the city, while another 169 people were injured.
