According to Dr Naeemi, Fitrana based on barley comes to Rs1,100 per person, while those calculating it on dates are required to pay Rs1,600 per person.

He also explained the ruling on Kaffara for deliberately breaking a fast during Ramazan. He said that a person who intentionally breaks a fast must either keep fasts continuously for 60 days or feed 60 deserving people two meals each.
