The Punjab Board has released a new schedule for Intermediate Part One admissions. Students can apply by paying a single fee until December 12, while applications with a late fee will be accepted from December 13 to 22. The notification, issued on December 5, originally set the dates from December 1 to 12.
Teachers have pointed out that five days have already passed, leaving only seven days for students to submit their applications. Considering bank holidays, students effectively have just four working days remaining to complete the process.
Parents have expressed concerns over the difficulty of paying the single fee amid rising inflation and have raised serious issues regarding the double and triple late fees. They have urged Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to take immediate notice and address the challenges faced by students and their families.
