Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has announced a temporary suspension of gas supply in several sectors of Islamabad due to maintenance work on the main pipeline.
The company stated that gas will remain unavailable from 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, until 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 9, to facilitate maintenance at Shaheen Chowk in Sector E-9.
The suspension will affect Sectors E-7, E-8, E-9, E-10, and F-8. Residents are advised to plan accordingly and use gas appliances carefully once the supply is restored.
SNGPL explained that the maintenance is part of its regular system improvement program to maintain a safe and reliable gas network. The company apologized for the inconvenience and assured that work would be completed swiftly to reduce disruption.
