Schools may shift to online classes from next week

Authorities are reviewing a proposal to begin online classes in schools and other educational institutions from March 10. Sources say the plan is still under consideration and a final decision is likely to be announced on Monday.

Officials explained that the step is being examined to ensure that students can continue their studies without interruption. If approved, the arrangement may apply to both public and private schools across the country as authorities look at ways to manage lessons through virtual platforms.

Education experts believe that shifting to online learning can help keep academic activities on track, particularly if schools face difficulties in operating normally. Parents and teachers have been advised to stay prepared in case digital learning is introduced.

The government is expected to issue formal instructions once the decision is confirmed. These guidelines will include information about class schedules, online platforms and examination plans.
