Gold prices dip in Pakistan as rates fall by Rs1,200 per tola

Gold rates eased in the local market on Wednesday, with the price of 24 carat gold falling by Rs1,200 per tola to Rs466,762. The cost of 10 grams of 24 carat gold also declined by Rs1,028, settling at Rs400,173, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold dropped by Rs942 to Rs366,838. Silver prices, however, remained unchanged, as 24-carat silver continued to trade at Rs 8,361 per tola and Rs 7,168 for 10 grams.

On the global market, gold slipped by $12 to reach $4,444 per ounce, while silver remained steady at $78.86 per ounce, according to the association.
