New flight route announced for Hajj 2026 pilgrims

Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Yousuf, has confirmed that all arrangements for Hajj 2026 are complete, ensuring smooth services for 180,000 pilgrims without any extra cost.

This includes 120,000 pilgrims under the government quota and 60,000 traveling privately.

Hajj flights will begin on April 18, with a new Lahore-to-Saudi Arabia route added alongside existing city connections.

The ministry has worked closely with private companies to maintain high standards in flights, accommodations, transport, and catering.

“Every effort is being made to provide high-quality arrangements, and the ministry aims to make this year’s Hajj exemplary in terms of management and facilities,” he stated.

Pakistan intends to fully use its Hajj quota this year while focusing on the comfort and safety of pilgrims. These arrangements also reflect the strong ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia and highlight efficient planning and organization.
