Students in Punjab are set for an extended winter break as Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat announced on his social media that holidays will run from December 22, 2025, to January 10, 2026, giving children a full 23 days off.
In practice, schools will close from December 20 and reopen on January 12, 2026, remaining shut during the coldest stretch of the season.
While students are thrilled about the long break, parents and teachers may be preparing for a busy winter at home.
