PIA allowed to operate two daily flights to UAE

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has received permission to operate two daily flights to the United Arab Emirates, according to airline sources.

Sources said the airline is currently running one daily flight each to Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Meanwhile, PIA flights to Riyadh and Medina are continuing as usual.

However, flights to Dammam have been temporarily suspended after a missile attack in Bahrain. Officials said the service is expected to be restored soon.

Sources further stated that flights to Saudi Arabia are currently being operated through the Arabian Sea and Yemen route. Flights heading to Europe and Canada are being routed via the Wakhan region of Afghanistan and Tajikistan.
