Chery Pakistan is gearing up to launch its flagship SUV, the Tiggo 9, in the local market, with reports suggesting the debut could happen as soon as next week.
While the company has not confirmed whether it will introduce the plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version, the petrol-powered model, or both, the Tiggo 9 is already available in several countries as a premium mid-size crossover SUV.
If launched, it will expand Chery’s lineup in Pakistan, which currently includes the Tiggo 4 Pro and Tiggo 8 Pro. Positioned above the Tiggo 8 Pro, the Tiggo 9 offers more advanced features and a more luxurious design, aiming to attract buyers in the premium SUV segment.
Though Chery has yet to reveal pricing, analysts expect the Tiggo 9 to be priced higher than the Tiggo 8 Pro due to its upgraded specifications and premium status. The company is expected to officially unveil the model next week.
