Sui Southern Gas Company Limited has dismissed rumours on social media about a complete gas shutdown in Karachi, saying no such decision has been announced.
In a clarification, the company said gas supply in the city is continuing under the existing winter load management plan, with scheduled night closures from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am.
SSGC urged consumers to trust only official channels for updates and advised them to contact the helpline or check the company’s website for verified information.
