The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) will remain closed on Thursday, February 5, 2026, in observance of a public holiday declared by the Government of Pakistan for Kashmir Day.
A notice from PSX confirmed that all trading activities will be suspended for the day and advised investors and market participants to plan accordingly.
Kashmir Day is observed every year across Pakistan to show solidarity with the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). On this day, government offices, financial institutions, and stock markets across the country remain closed.
Market authorities have urged stakeholders to stay informed about any further announcements and stated that trading will resume as usual on Friday, February 6, 2026.
