The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has announced new employment opportunities in Karachi for skilled professionals. The vacancies are available in the bank’s Digital Innovations & Settlements Department (DI&SD), which is responsible for supporting digital banking, payment systems, and technology-related operations. Applications can be submitted through the official SBP careers portal until July 13, 2026.
The central bank is recruiting for two positions: Deputy Director – Settlements Division (OG-3) and Innovation Hub Technologist (Contract). Both roles are based in Karachi and require candidates with relevant academic backgrounds and professional experience.
For the Deputy Director – Settlements Division (OG-3) role, applicants must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with at least 16 years of education in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, or a related discipline from an HEC-recognized local or international university. Candidates must be no older than 40 years and should have a minimum of eight years of experience in RTGS operations, payment infrastructure, or core banking systems.
Preference will be given to candidates who have experience with SWIFT, ISO 20022, T24, Oracle Financials, PRISM, incident management tools, and payment system documentation.

For the Innovation Hub Technologist position, candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 16 years of education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field from an HEC-recognized institution.
Applicants must also be 40 years of age or younger and have at least five years of experience in enterprise application development or implementation.
Candidates with expertise in .NET, Java, Python, Node.js, C/C++, Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, CI/CD pipelines, test automation, and technical deployment processes will be preferred.
