40 more flights canceled in Pakistan over middle east tensions

Due to the escalating conflict involving Iran, the United States, and Israel, an additional 40 flights across Pakistan were canceled today.

Airline authorities said eight flights from Lahore, Islamabad, and Peshawar to Fujairah were rerouted to Al Ain. In comparison, ten flights from Al Ain to these Pakistani cities continued to operate as scheduled.

Meanwhile, Qatar Airways reported a gradual resumption of its flights from Doha to Pakistan, with services to Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad running on schedule.

Flights from Karachi to Doha, Bahrain, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai saw heavy cancellations, totaling 13. Lahore had eight flights canceled, Islamabad seven, Peshawar ten, and Multan two. Over the past 20 days, roughly 70,000 flights from the Middle East have been disrupted.
