Hania Aamir has now been welcomed as the UN Women Goodwill Ambassador for Pakistan, marking an essential step in her work for women’s rights.

UN Women’s Regional Director for Asia and the Pacific, Christine Arab, greeted her warmly, saying: “A memorable moment as Christine Arab, Regional Director, UN Women Asia and the Pacific, welcomed Hania Aamir as our new Goodwill Ambassador.

Calling on her to help advance safe, inclusive digital and financial spaces for women and girls across Pakistan. A new chapter for change.”

Hania highlighted the need to change online attitudes and challenge harmful behavior, stressing that women and girls should be able to study, work, and speak freely without fear.

With this position, she hopes to push forward meaningful change and bring more attention to the needs and rights of women and girls across the country.

Before this, Hania kept her fans engaged by promoting her new drama through several Instagram Stories.
