The National Highway Authority has announced new toll rates for vehicles using national highways and motorways across the country. The updated charges will take effect on April 5, 2026.
According to a notification issued by the authority’s Finance Wing (Revenue Directorate), the revised rates cover different types of vehicles, including cars, wagons, buses, and various categories of trucks on major routes.
On national highways, cars will now pay Rs100, wagons Rs200, and buses Rs300. Two and three-axle trucks will be charged Rs350, while articulated trucks will pay Rs700. Higher tolls have also been set for certain routes, such as the Kohat Tunnel (N-55) and Indus Motorway (E-75).

On motorways, toll rates vary by route. Cars traveling on the Islamabad Peshawar Motorway (M-1) will pay Rs700. The toll for cars on the Lahore Abdul Hakeem Motorway (M-3) has been fixed at Rs1000, while on the Pindi Bhattian Multan Motorway (M-4) it will be Rs1300.
On the Multan Sukkur Motorway (M-5), cars will be charged Rs1500. The D.I. Khan Hakla Motorway (M-14) will have a toll of Rs800 for cars, while on the Hassanabdal Havelian Mansehra Expressway (E-35), the charge will be Rs350. Rates for larger vehicles such as wagons, buses, and multi axle trucks have also been increased across all motorway routes.
The NHA stated that these revised toll rates have been introduced under the relevant provisions of the NHA Act, 1991, as amended, and will be implemented nationwide from the announced date.
