Authorities in Islamabad have started a focused crackdown on car showrooms in Sector G-8 to address illegal parking that was blocking footpaths and disturbing traffic flow.
The action is being carried out under the supervision of the Deputy Commissioner of Islamabad, targeting showroom owners who have extended their businesses into public spaces by parking vehicles outside their premises.
During the operation, six showrooms were sealed for violating rules, while other businesses were issued notices and told to immediately clear any unauthorized parking or face similar action.
Officials said these steps are necessary to protect pedestrians and keep traffic moving smoothly in the busy commercial area.

They added that blocked footpaths create problems for pedestrians and also worsen congestion on already crowded roads.
Showroom owners in the area have been given a final warning, with authorities making it clear that strict action will continue against any further violations.
