The new tab will also feature a section that highlights popular AI options to make it easier for users to find the most highly-rated or trending AIs.
Additionally, these AIs will be categorized based on their function, such as general advice, creative assistance, or niche areas like gaming.
As part of this update, WhatsApp will remove the Communities tab from the bottom navigation bar to make space for the AI-powered chats tab while the details remain unconfirmed.
This move follows recent updates that shifted community creation tools to the Chats tab, and it signals a focus on integrating more advanced features.
