Popular TikToker Zulqarnain Sikandar recently revealed that he was arrested, sharing details of the incident in his latest social media post.
According to Sikandar, the arrest took place during a close friend’s wedding, and the police detained him for nearly seven to eight hours without any clear explanation.
Sikander expressed his anger and frustration, he claimed that false First Information Reports (FIRs) had been filed against him, leading to his unwarranted detention.
“Anything is possible in this country, and I am unaware of the individuals trying to defame me,” he stated. He also assured his followers that he would address the matter publicly soon.
Meanwhile, another TikToker, Rajab Butt, was recently sentenced for keeping a lion cub illegally in Lahore, violating local wildlife laws.
Butt admitted to the offense after a video surfaced showing him receiving the cub as a wedding gift. His arrest followed a raid conducted by the Punjab Wildlife Department and police last month.
As per the court’s ruling, Butt will serve a one-year community service sentence under a probation officer’s supervision.
During this period, he is required to create monthly vlogs focusing on animal rights and protection. Each vlog must receive approval from the probation officer before being uploaded.
Additionally, he must attend hearings if summoned, with non-compliance resulting in a report to the court.
