Karachi police have arrested a woman named Babra, also known as Bebo, for allegedly distributing drugs to young people in various parts of the city.

The arrest was made by South Darakhshan District Police, who are now expanding their investigation into a broader narcotics ring.

Babra, a resident of Gulshan-e-Iqbal, first rose to fame in 2007 as a model and later gained attention as a TikTok content creator.

According to exclusive interrogation details shared with City 21, she completed her intermediate education before entering the entertainment industry.

Officials said Babra had a troubled personal life, especially after her parents divorced and her mother remarried in 2017.

She reportedly left her stepfather’s home due to constant disputes and moved to an apartment in Muslim Commercial. There, she continued modeling and increased her social media following.

Despite her public image, police claim Babra was leading a secret life. She became involved in private parties held in upscale areas, where she was introduced to drugs like crystal meth and cocaine.

Over time, she allegedly developed an addiction and began distributing narcotics through personal networks and at these events.

During interrogation, Babra reportedly admitted to both using and supplying drugs in areas including Defence.

She also confessed to having been arrested twice before and acknowledged committing theft. Authorities said she delivered drugs directly to high-profile clients and parties.

In response, police plan to step up surveillance of private events and keep a closer watch on social media platforms used by influencers. Further arrests may be made as the investigation into Babra’s alleged network continues.
