Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon has unveiled a series of key initiatives set to enhance the province’s education, health, and transport sectors in the coming quarter.
In his statement, he shared that 4,400 teachers will be recruited, while four new IBA community colleges will be opened across Sindh.
Additionally, 34,000 schools will be granted financial autonomy to help them manage their affairs more effectively.
He also announced that thousands of eligible students will benefit from scholarships through the Sindh Education Endowment Fund, aimed at supporting their pursuit of higher education.
On the healthcare front, a substantial budget of Rs326.5 billion is being allocated, with urgent disbursement of funds.
Major projects include the expansion of SIUT, PPHI, NICVD, and Chandka Medical College Hospital, along with improvements to ambulance services.
In the agriculture sector, subsidies under the Benazir Hari Card are being gradually rolled out to support 200,000 farmers.
He emphasized that “these development measures are part of the Sindh government’s commitment to revive the economy and provide immediate relief to citizens.”
