Sindh govt introduces solar panel scheme 2024 – Check details

The Sindh government has good news for low-income households, introduced a scheme to give relief by providing subsidized solar panels due to the burden of electricity costs.

The eligible families will get financial support to deploy solar panels in their houses, facilitating them to generate their electricity. This initiative is part of the government’s efforts to facilitate cost-efficiency and fight energy poverty in the province.

Gadinsider citing sources reported that under the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Sindh government will provide solar panels to 200,000 people in the first phase across the state as 50,000 systems are ready to arrive in Karachi in October.
