The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee has officially announced that the holy month of Ramadan will begin in Pakistan on March 2 (Monday).

As Muslims across the country prepare to observe fasting with devotion and enthusiasm, discussions have already started regarding the expected schedule for Eidul Fitr 2025 holidays.

Eidul Fitr marks the end of Ramadan and is celebrated worldwide with great joy. The occasion typically lasts for three days, during which the federal government declares public holidays.

According to SUPARCO, the month of fasting is expected to last for 29 days, concluding on March 30, with Eidul Fitr expected on March 31. However, if the Shawwal moon is not sighted on March 30, Eid celebrations will begin on April 1.

Expected Eidul Fitr 2025 Holidays

Citizens could enjoy five to six holidays for Eidul Fitr, depending on the moon sighting. The government traditionally grants three public holidays for the festival.
