The meteorological department has predicted light rain and breezy conditions in several districts of Punjab over the next two days, while the rest of the province will continue to experience hot and humid weather.

According to the weather report, areas including Murree (17-19°C), Bahawalpur (37-39°C), Dera Ghazi Khan (29-31°C), Multan (32-34°C), Chakwal (29-31°C), Faisalabad (32-34°C), Sargodha (29-31°C), Lahore (33-35°C), Attock (30-32°C), Rawalpindi (28-30°C), Jhelum (28-30°C), and Sahiwal (34-36°C) are expected to receive rainfall on Wednesday and Thursday.

Humidity remains high in many cities, with Multan at 91%, Bahawalpur at 75%, and Jhelum at 73%, making the weather feel warmer.

By Friday, most regions will see clear skies with a temperature rise of 2 to 3 degrees Celsius.

In Lahore, the temperature is expected to remain between 33°C and 35°C during the rainy period but will rise to 35-37°C on Friday as sunny weather returns.

While the showers may provide temporary relief, humidity levels of 71% will keep conditions warm and sticky.

Meteorologists predict that the scattered rainfall will help improve air quality and create a more pleasant atmosphere.

However, residents are advised to brace for brief storms and high humidity as Punjab moves into warmer days.

Earlier, the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) had predicted widespread rain, thunderstorms, and the possibility of hailstorms in several regions leading up to Eid-ul-Fitr.

Between March 25 and 27, the PMD expects rain and snowfall over mountainous areas in the upper and central regions.

Rain showers are likely to affect Buner, Dir, Malakand, Swabi, Charsadda, Abbottabad, and Peshawar during this period.

Other regions, including Karak, Lakki Marwat, North and South Waziristan, and Dera Ismail Khan, may also experience rain, hail, and snowfall at higher elevations.

Islamabad, Potohar, Murree, and Galiyat will receive rainfall and light snowfall between March 25 and 27.
