Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is all set to expand its network with new domestic and international routes.
After the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) lifted its ban, PIA has resumed flights to Europe and the United Kingdom (UK).
PIA New Flight Routes
PIA has announced that the new services will begin this month, using its Boeing 777 and Airbus 320 aircraft.
The airline will operate two weekly flights between Sialkot and Bahrain from January 20. A weekly flight from Lahore to Kuwait will begin on January 25, according to reports.
Moreover, PIA will start two weekly flights between Lahore and Dammam on January 22, while a weekly flight between Faisalabad and Jeddah will also launch on January 20.
PIA has also announced a weekly service between Karachi and Peshawar that is set to begin on January 25, along with weekly flights between Sialkot and Doha to start from January 21.
Recently, PIA has brought back several of its grounded aircraft into service, including a Boeing 777, an Airbus 320, and an ATR. This strategic move of PIA has increased its active fleet to 19 aircraft and there are more plans to grow its operational fleet to 24 aircraft over the next six months.
