Pakistan’s Nooh Dastgir Butt clinches three gold medals in CPC

Nooh Dastgir Butt the weightlifting champion from Pakistan wins gold medals thrice convectively in the CPC.

Nooh had made an exceptional appearance in powerlifting, requiring the Commonwealth Champion title in the 120kg category at the Commonwealth Powerlifting Championship (CPC).

Butt exhibited his powerful strength by attaining gold medals thrice and one bronze in his first-ever powerlifting competition, lifting a whooping  860kg in the open category to achieve the championship title for his beloved country.

To add to his overall victory, Butt eclipsed in many individual events as well, lifting 370kg in the squat to earn a gold medal, and another gold in the bench press with a lift of 210kg.

He also landed a bronze medal in the deadlift category, lifting 280kg.

This initial appearance in powerlifting marks an important climax for Butt, who had previously gained multiple medals in weightlifting.

Following disputes with the Pakistan Weightlifting Federation, he turned to powerlifting, which he had already found to be one of the greatest hits and had glory to his country on many International stages.
