During the Eid celebrations, thousands of families flocked to Lahore Zoo and Safari Park, filling these recreational spots with laughter, excitement, and joy.

Both children and adults enjoyed seeing a variety of animals and taking part in thrilling activities. On the third and final day of Eid, these popular destinations remained crowded with eager visitors.

At the zoo’s HoloVerse experience, families captured stunning 3D images in a virtual jungle environment.

Meanwhile, the Safari Park buzzed with energy as visitors embarked on the Lion Safari, Tiger Safari, and Deer Safari rides, getting a rare, up-close view of these magnificent animals.

Young visitors were especially thrilled. Ahmed, a child visiting the park, excitedly shared, “It was amazing! I saw a lion up close for the first time.”

Another visitor, Fatima, praised the experience, saying, “This place is perfect for children; they learn about animals while having so much fun.”

Adding to the fun, the Wild on Beat theatre show at Safari Park captivated audiences, featuring performers dressed as wild animals and tribal characters who delivered an important message about wildlife conservation.

The interactive show was met with cheers and applause, especially from children.

However, some visitors raised concerns about ticket pricing at Lahore Zoo, claiming that instead of the Rs100 standard entry fee, they were being asked to buy a Rs500 bundled package.

Responding swiftly, Wildlife Director General Mudassir Riaz instructed staff to ensure that no visitor was forced to purchase additional packages and that the original entry fee remained unchanged.

Punjab’s Senior Minister Maryam Aurangzeb also took notice of these complaints, confirming that the zoo entry fee should stay at Rs100, while special attractions like the reptile house, aquarium, and hologram show would have separate ticketing.

She further acknowledged that a record-breaking 35,000 visitors had explored the zoo during Eid, leading to some administrative challenges.

She reassured the public that improvements would be made to enhance the experience for future visitors.
