The intense heat in Lahore has left many residents feeling lightheaded during the day, as the blazing sun continues to take a toll on people’s health.
Reports indicate that a new heatwave has intensified across Punjab, pushing daytime temperatures in the city up to 38°C.
Weather experts have forecast that Lahore will remain hot and dry, with no rainfall expected. The Pakistan Meteorological Department has confirmed that these extreme conditions will continue throughout the day.
In the coming days, temperatures are expected to rise even further, possibly hitting between 42°C and 44°C, well above the seasonal average.
Given the harsh weather, health specialists have urged people to stay indoors unless absolutely necessary.
