According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, Karachi will experience a mix of weather conditions over the next three days, with sunshine, fog, and cloud cover.

The changing conditions signal the gradual transition from winter to summer in the coastal city.

According to the Early Warning Centre, Saturday will bring clear skies with strong sunshine. However, by Sunday morning, fog is expected to cover parts of the city, temporarily reducing visibility before clearing up later in the day.

Moving into Monday, the weather is likely to turn mostly cloudy, bringing cooler temperatures compared to the previous days. Wind patterns are also set to change over the weekend.

Karachi will experience northeastern winds from Balochistan during the night and early morning, while southwesterly sea breezes will dominate the afternoons.

Residents should be prepared for sudden shifts in temperature and potential visibility issues, especially during the early morning hours when fog may impact traffic.

On a national scale, the Pakistan Meteorological Department reports that the weather has turned dry again as the rain-bearing system that previously affected much of Punjab, including Lahore, has now moved on.

While the plains are experiencing a dry spell, the effects of recent rain and snowfall in mountainous regions are still slow.
