Karachi is most likely to experience very hot weather in the following days.

Met Department records show the maximum temperature as 39°C in Karachi today.

The city famous for its trade and ports might have some serious sizzling weather conditions during the next two to three days, as said by the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

In an account on Tuesday, the Met Office said that the weather would most likely remain “hot to very hot and dry” during the next few days.

“Hot and dry winds are expected to blow from northwest [in Karachi],” it added.

The Met Department listed a maximum temperature of 39°C in Karachi.

“Mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain wind/thunderstorms may occur in Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan,” read the document.

“A westerly wave is present over western and upper parts of the country.”

During the next couple of days, mostly hot and dry weather is to be expected in the most plain areas of the country. However, partly cloudy weather with chances of rain along with thunderstorms is expected at remote places in the upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, predicts the weather department.

The PMD, however, states that: “Rain-wind/thunderstorm is likely at isolated places in upper KP.”
