Karachi experiences coldest day as temperature hits 9°C

On Sunday, Karachi experiences its coldest day of the season with a temperature of 9°C, as reported by sources.

The cold and dry weather will be expected on Sunday night, Monday, and Tuesday in Karachi, Hyderabad, and several areas of Sindh.

According to PMD, continental air covers most part of the Pakistan and a westerly wave covers the western and upper parts of the country.

So, in these conditions, mostly cold and dry weather will continue to prevail in Karachi, Hyderabad, and many areas of Sindh for Sunday night and in the next two days.

Fog/Smog is expected in Shikarpur, Kashmore, Khairpur, Sukkur, and surrounding areas at night and in the morning.

Karachi, Sindh weather update

The temperature is expected to remain between 9-11°C in Karachi on Monday and Tuesday while in Hyderabad, the temperature will likely between 10-12°C on Monday and Tuesday.

Moreover, cold and dry weather is recorded in Karachi, Hyderabad and many areas of Sindh in the past 24 hours and fog prevailed in upper districts.

Karachi’s minimum temperature was 9°C, and the humidity was 49 percent. Mohenjo Daro remained the coldest area of Sindh, with a temperature of 2°C and humidity in the morning of 92 percent.

Hyderabad’s minimum temperature was at 10°C, with the relative humidity in the morning recorded at 70 percent.
