Singer turned politician Jawad Ahmed reportedly attacked staff members of the Lahore Electricity Supply Company (LESCO) during an inspection at his wife’s beauty salon in Johar Town on Thursday.

According to LESCO officials, the salon’s electricity meter was found to be tampered as one of its phases had been deactivated.

While the LESCO implementation and technical team were conducting their inspection, Jawad Ahmed arrived at the location in an angry outburst and allegedly seized the meter from the staff.

Sources revealed that the leader of Barabri Party Pakistan physically assaulted LESCO employees Asghar and Shahid before escaping the scene with the meter and his wife.

After the incident, LESCO staff reported the tampered meter to senior officials, who later visited the site for further investigation.

A formal complaint has been filed against the singer at the Nawab Town Police Station, accusing him of assaulting LESCO personnel and involvement in electricity theft.

LESCO stated that Jawad Ahmed himself removed the meter, leading to the disconnection of the electricity supply to the premises. They confirmed that power will only be restored once the required legal actions are completed.
