The Pakistani automotive market has been active in 2025, with several new vehicle launches in just the first few months, including models like the Kia Sportage L, GuGo Box EV, JAC T9 Hunter, MG HS Trophy, and Isuzu D-Max.

Now, Hyundai appears to be gearing up to introduce a new Tucson variant. Back in December 2024, a Hyundai Tucson Hybrid was spotted in Pakistan, sparking speculation about an official launch.

At the time, Hyundai Nishat Motors clarified that the vehicle was a private import and not part of their plans.

However, given the arrival of the Sportage L, one of Tucson’s key competitors, many in the industry suspected that Hyundai would eventually introduce its new variant.

Now, Hyundai has dropped a strong hint about an upcoming launch. A recent social media post from the company teased “unstoppable power” and “groundbreaking efficiency” before confirming:

“The revolutionary Hyundai All-Wheel Drive Hybrid is almost here.” This suggests that a hybrid, all-wheel-drive Tucson will soon be available in Pakistan.

Though official specifications are undisclosed, sources suggest the new Tucson may feature a latest-generation design, all-wheel drive, a hybrid powertrain, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

Additionally, a long-wheelbase version could be introduced to provide extra cabin space. If these details hold, the Tucson Hybrid could be a notable addition to Pakistan’s growing hybrid vehicle market, offering more competition in the fuel-efficient SUV segment.
