Gold prices surge nearly Rs7,000 per tola in one day in Pakistan

The price of 24 karat gold rose sharply by Rs6,600 per tola on Tuesday, reaching Rs356,800 compared to Rs350,200 on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.

Similarly, the cost of 10 grams of 24 karat gold went up by Rs5,658, now priced at Rs305,898, up from Rs300,240. For 10 grams of 22 karat gold, the price climbed by Rs5,186, settling at Rs280,416 compared to the earlier rate of Rs275,230.

Silver prices also saw an upward shift, with the rate per tola increasing by Rs52 to Rs3,834, and the price for 10 grams rising by Rs45 to Rs3,287.

In the global market, gold saw a significant jump of $66, moving from $3,282 to $3,348. Silver also recorded a gain of $0.52, trading at $35.50, as per the Association’s report.
