Globally, gold rose by $24 on Saturday, closing at $3,201 per ounce, including a $20 premium, according to APGJSA. Silver also moved upward locally, increasing by Rs33 to settle at Rs3,410 per tola.
Experts believe the rise in gold prices is driven by global economic uncertainty and fluctuating demand, which are also influencing Pakistan’s local bullion market.
