Gold prices are once again on the rise, showing continued momentum in both international and local markets. In the global bullion market, gold climbed by $6 per ounce, pushing the rate to $3,224.

This global increase has impacted local rates as well, with 24-carat gold per tola going up by Rs600 to reach Rs339,400. Similarly, the cost of 10 grams rose by Rs514, bringing the new rate to Rs290,980 in Pakistan.

Silver prices, on the other hand, remained unchanged. The per tola price of silver stayed at Rs3,397, while 10 grams held firm at Rs2,912.

The upward trend in gold prices reflects strong demand, both internationally and within the country, prompting keen interest from investors and buyers.

Just a day earlier, on Monday, gold prices had actually dipped after three straight days of gains. The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) reported that the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs1,800 to Rs338,800.

This decrease came after gold had touched an all-time high of Rs340,600 per tola on Saturday, following a one-day surge of Rs1,800.
