Gold price dips slightly but still close to all-time high

The price of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs700 per tola on Monday, settling at Rs362,300 compared to Rs363,000 on the previous trading day, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association.

This puts the current rate just below the record high of Rs363,700 per tola.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs600, now standing at Rs310,613, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold saw a Rs550 decline to Rs284,738.

Meanwhile, the rates for silver held steady, with per tola silver priced at Rs3,787 and 10 grams at Rs3,246.

On the global front, gold prices dropped by $18 to $3,414, while silver remained unchanged at $36.29, as reported by the Association.
