On Tuesday, the famously known Indian Islamic scholar Dr Zakir Naik, who recently arrived in Pakistan for a visit, called at the residence of Maulana Fazal Ur Rehman, the leader of Jamait-e- Ulemma-e-Islam (JUI).
There, they discussed the issues of global challenges faced by the Muslim community and how they could be religiously united. Doctor Zakir had his son Tariq Naik as his companion on the occasion,
A warm welcome was given to the virtuoso alongside a high-level delegation. During the meeting, Rehman Sahab applauded Doctor Naik for his zest in contributing to defending Islam at all times, especially in answering complex questions from the viewpoint of the faith.
“You have graced our home with your presence”, stated Fazal, adjoining that the prestigious personality visit would further bring them blessings on their mission. He further praised Doctor Naik’s way of addressing religious queries by adding that “The way Dr Naik answers questions is a defence of the Muslim Ummah”.
The JUI chief further recognized that due to Doctor Naik’s preachings, many people have been inspired and embraced Islam.
