Daniel Day Lewis returns to acting after 7 years of disappearance

The actor Daniel Day-Lewis is reportedly going to appear in ‘Anemone,’ directed by his son Ronan Day-Lewis, according to Variety.

Both the father and son co-wrote the movie that would investigate complex kinships between brothers, sons, and fathers of society along with the “dynamics of familial bonds.”

Daniel Day-Lewis would be the protagonist for the movie working beside Hollywood stars that would include Sean Bean, Samantha Morton, Samuel Bottomley and Safia Oakley-Green.

This longtime awaited documentary would be the old time actor’s first since “Phantom Thread,” which was released in 2017

Ben Fordesman would be the directing photographer for “Anemone,” whereas Jane Petrie would be handling the costume designing, and Chris Oddy would be serving as the production designer for the blockbuster.

The sensation’s son Ronan Day-Lewis, the person who made his father appear on the big screen after a seven-year hiatus and is also involved in directing the movie, is a painter who debuted his International Solo Exhibition in Hong Kong on the 2nd of October.
