The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has announced that its IRIS platform and related online services will be temporarily unavailable from August 8 to August 10 because of scheduled system maintenance.
Pakistan Revenue Automation Limited (PRAL), the IT arm of the FBR, said the maintenance work will start at 12:30 AM on August 8 and continue until 5:00 PM on August 10.
During this period, taxpayers and other users will not be able to access the IRIS platform or use its online services. According to the FBR, all services will be restored once the maintenance work is completed.

PRAL has urged government departments, organizations and other stakeholders to make the necessary arrangements in advance to reduce any inconvenience during the scheduled maintenance period.
The FBR also said an advisory banner will be displayed on the IRIS portal before the maintenance begins to inform users about the temporary service interruption.
Despite the temporary shutdown of the platform, the FBR’s Contact Center will remain available throughout the maintenance period to assist users with queries and provide technical support.
