The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has issued a schedule for temporary power outages in various city areas to carry out necessary maintenance, upgrades, and urgent repairs on the power lines and grid stations.
A FESCO spokesperson shared that the electricity supply will be disrupted on July 30 in several areas.
From 6:00 in the morning until 2:00 in the afternoon, power will be suspended for the Khanoana, Bhawana, Mangoana, and Ahmad Nagar feeders connected to the 132 kV Bhawana Grid Station.
Meanwhile, from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM, supply will be unavailable in areas linked to the 132 kV Khurrianwala Grid Station, including Fakhraabad, Lathianwala, Rafique Spinning, WAPDA City, Forest Park, Farooq Spinning, Khurrianwala City, Lahore Road, MK Sons, Interloop, New MK Sons, Firdous, Saboana, NADRA, and Wadi Sitara feeders.
Likewise, Johal (SEL) and Ziarat (SEL) areas, fed by the 132 kV Bandala Grid Station, will also face outages.
Additional feeders affected include Shahbaz Garments, AM Tex, Beacon Impex, and Taja Beerwala from the 132 kV Bhawana Grid Station; Lalian City, Kalowal, Abdullah Shah Shaheen, and Ahmad Nagar from the 132 kV Lalian Grid Station; and Pathankot and New Ahmad Nagar from the 132 kV Chenab Nagar Grid Station.
From 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM, feeders such as VAC One, Garment City, Chawla Enterprises, Sameera Fabrics, and Tricon Beverages, connected to the 132 kV VAC Grid Station, will also be affected.
In the same window, areas like Nyamoana, Roshanwala, MGM, and Chenab Garden, tied to the 132 kV Samundri Road Grid Station, will be without electricity from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
From 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM, several neighborhoods will experience power outages, including Four Seasons, Miyani, Ilyas Garden, Dasuha, Defence Paradise, Aminabad, Nawabanwala, Nisar Colony, Gulshan Iqbal Colony, Masoodabad, Mujahidabad, Pepsi, Muzaffar Colony, Government General Hospital, Ahmad Nagar, Barkatpura, Falco Textile, Samundri Road, D-Type, Korian Road, Al-Faisal, New Iqbal Colony, M Ali Street, and Data Street, all supplied by the 132 kV Thikriwala Grid Station.
The same timeframe applies to feeders from the 132 kV Samundri Road Grid Station, such as Falco Textile, New Iqbal Colony, Samundri Road, Samanabad, Aminabad, Four Seasons, Korian Road, Nawabanwala, and Dasuha.
FESCO has urged residents in these areas to make necessary arrangements and expressed regret for the inconvenience caused during this essential work.
